How creative. I can make better cheeseburgers at home with all kind of exotic meats. Fresher, tastier, etc. Normally not looking for a cheese burger in Vegas.

The main problem I love burgers and other casual restaurants located at strip casinos is the rent is high which means high prices. People don’t want to pay a lot for fast food. The high end restaurants can mark up prices and don’t have to rely on volume as much.You got to sell a lot of burgers just to pay the rent.

Burgers are so easy to make at home I don’t get why they are so popular to order out. I like to order stuff that I can’t get or don’t want to fuss with at home. Tacos are a good example. Too much prep to fuss with at home when there are so many great taco joints in town.

BTW I’m with Consumer Reports on how to make the best burger. Use a blistering hot cast iron pan. A hot plate outside is best because it will smoke like crazy. Just 3 minutes per side max. They did a blind taste test between gas and charcoal grills and the simple cast iron pan. The pan won.
