Ha, I’m with you! I have difficulty with change. There are a lot of really smart people at Casino.org, and they’re the best I’ve encountered at SEO and optimization. A lot of the revamp has been focused on mobile, as that’s the majority of traffic to my site (any site now, really). I am still on the fence about the use of snippets, as it puts a lot of pressure on the headline and image. I used to force people to read (or skim) every story in its entirety. Definitely a different experience. I don’t really have context for knowing if things like “Most Commented” or “Trending” are things that draw people in and keep them on the site longer, but I trust there’s data behind those decisions. More to come, and feedback is welcome.
]]>But yeah, it’s not as much fun navigating your blogs at this website.
]]>Thank you so much for taking the time to say that. As I mentioned in my story, this site and the podcast have been a labor of love for so many years. It’s amazing to be able to be able to do my hobby as a job, and even more amazing to think I’ll never have to hold a job-job again.
]]>So much in this world is messed up, but to see your hard work and talent get rewarded warms my heart, and makes me feel better for freeloading off your articles and podcasts all these years.
]]>Sorry to hear this. I hadn’t considered that. It’s interesting, because while “casino” is in the name, I don’t think they have actual gambling on the site–it’s a review and news site.
]]>Ha, very kind and appreciate it.
]]>Thank you! They’ve got muscle and know-how about things I have no clue about.
